Divorce Support Group

 

The loss of divorce can be every bit as painful as the loss of a loved one to death.  It can leave a person feeling alone and grieving… deserted… with nowhere to turn.

             Many of our parishioners, who themselves have experienced the pain of divorce, have voiced a desire for a place where they can come together to grieve their loss.  Our Christian faith assures us that Christ is truly present when we gather in His name.

No person should travel  through the pain of divorce alone.

 

St. Dominic Parish is offering the opportunity for men and women, who have experienced the pain of divorce, to come together and discuss the issues that only they can truly understand.

             Men and women of the parish, each of whom have been through a divorce, will lead the sessions. Their personal commitment to this ministry, along with their individual experiences of divorce, and the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit, will certainly help you experience the new life that awaits on the horizon.

Consider  joining us  as we discuss the many issues of divorce, such as anger, loss, grief, community, healing and renewal.

six consecutive Wednesdays,
beginning February 17, 2010.
